The music and dance performance 'Dance for you' conveys the breadth of dance as an artistic form of expression. Through choreographies in different dance expressions to specially composed music, small stories and moods are told through several choreographies in different genres; neoclassical, modern and jazz dance, small stories / different moods are told. The music is specially composed and the musician is the show's "maestro". Through joy and commitment, he creates contact with the audience. He improvises a new piece in each performance based on 4 notes given by the audience. With simple means, an ordinary gymnasium is transformed into a magical place where art inspires.'Dans for Deg' has been performed over 300 times for almost 42,000 young people. The production premiered in the fall of 2000 and has since been performed for young people in Rogaland, Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Akershus, Oppland etc. The Audio Visual Fund and the Fund for Performing Artists have supported the revival. The performance has been enthusiastically received by the press, teachers and pupils alike.Dans & Toner specializes in communicating live dance art to newly created music for children and young people. They tour the country with various productions and in recent years have performed for over 200,000 children and young people.
