It's the middle of the night and the boy has walked out of his house, through the city and the forest and all the way to the end of the world. Now he stands alone in an abandoned house, oblivious to the two people sneaking up on him.

The little boy was at the end of everything. Why had he left home? Maybe he was angry with his parents? Maybe he was tired of everyone looking at him and wondering why he was so weird? Maybe he didn't have parents and he'd gone out to find some?

"Borte borte vekk" is a performance about memories and the fear of forgetting someone you have lost. The performance is based on interviews we have done with each other, children and adults about orphanhood.

The performance is part of our Annerledes project where we create performances about children who have a different upbringing.
