The year is 2018, in a schoolyard in Oslo, a group of girls clash in a mass brawl. Just a few days later, it happens again. The headline in the media reads: "Girls fight over 'glaring' in the schoolyard".

Staring is often invisible.
It is only visible to the person who is subjected to it.
It's a phenomenon where people use the "gaze" to exert power.
Being subjected to "staring" can be perceived as threatening. And staring quickly becomes the basis for major conflicts.
And the conflicts that arise. They degenerate into mass fights.

BLIKK is an explosive and rhythmic performance with only girls in the ensemble on stage.
It's a performance that hits you like a punch in the gut, transforming good girls into uninhibited warriors and Medusa's doubles.
What happens when bullying leads to violence? How do we view girls who fight? Can violence be attractive? And what are the consequences?

Stage size:
5 meters high, 12 (10) meters wide and 5 meters deep in the playing area. In addition, there are audience amphitheaters on 2 sides of the playing area that take up about 2-3 meters each - depending on the number of audience members and room capacity. We bring a bench. 3 buckets that are hung from the ceiling with associated pulling mechanisms that release about 1000 ping pong balls from the ceiling. We need access to a PA system.

This production is available in two versions stationary and touring version. The two versions require different technology and have different capacities so please read the information carefully.
