Artistic courage was the reason Odd Johan Fritzøe received the Performing Arts Award from Performing Arts Hub Norway in 2000. Movement is the focus of his work, and cultural relativism and popular cultural phenomena are recurring themes in his performances. He trained at the Norwegian National Academy of Ballet and has worked as a dancer for twenty years. Fritzøe choreographs both his own projects and for institutions - most recently for the Finnish National Ballet in 2006. Four sound balls roll and are thrown between the four male dancers. A chamber play about men's rhythms, play, games and male identity.
