Balladen om Bohm og Bøhmer

Our two big friends with no ties and no fixed abode wake up to a new day. What will they do? Despite their different experiences, they find each other through play and storytelling. It's about fear, joy, freedom and friendship.Bøhm and Bøhmer are homeless, they once worked at a brewery, but the brewery has been bought up and production has been moved to another location, and they haven't found a new job. Surplus man Bøhmer is happy with the way things are. He's just glad that he doesn't have to deal with the many duties and events of bourgeois life. Bohm, who is more anxious by nature, misses good food, the occasional beer and the prospect of a pay packet.As the play begins, the two comrades wake up to a new day among their discarded empty brewery crates. Soon they are ready to fill the day with stories, as they are wont to do. The production is a collaboration with Det Åpne Teater.
