What exactly is hijab? Through dance, image projection and young people's own expressions, an important topic in Norwegian society today is highlighted.

The performance creates an arena for dialogue and reflection on the theme of hijab/veil for young people within an aesthetic framework in a contemporary expression. With the use of a sports hijab designed by Cindy van den Bremen, a physical expression is emphasized.This is a knowledge-developing and engaging performance with captivating music, where the dance and the body is a supporting element.The performance is supported by the Arts Council Norway, The Audio Visual Fund and The Fund for Performing Artists and was co-produced with Den Kulturelle Skolesekken in Drammen/ Union Scene 2007 and has been well received by both teachers and students.
