Aske is inspired by one of Norway's most extensive and dramatic pyromaniac cases, and the novel "Før jeg brenner ned" by Gaute Heivoll.

Yngvild Aspeli's object/figure theater company Plexus Polaire is behind this wordless and visual figure theater performance. 12 human-sized figures are manipulated by 3 performers who make the audience wonder who is manipulating whom in this poetic and brutal performance about the invisible border between normality and madness.

Aske is produced and completed at Nordland Visual Theatre in August to October 2014 and is a co-production with Compagnie Philippe Genty MCNN - Creation Centre and Production (FR) // The Mouffetard - Theatre of Puppetry Arts in Paris (FR)
