A street-art performance based on texts by Malmfrid Hovsveen Hallum.

In the performance, we meet five characters who, each in their own way, experience exclusion and otherness in their own surroundings in the big city. Together, as a gang, they face life.

The gang: "I shouted! No one came!"The boy: "I looked around for the friends I had let go"The girl: "but they were gone. They and".

Where do you go if all roads look the same? What do you reach for if everything you reach for is moving away from you? And where do you find hope if no one tells you it exists?

Throughout the performance, themes such as media attention, alienation, domestic violence, obsession with beauty and loneliness are recorded in the landscape as the characters' own secrets and stories break through the stereotypical surface. The stories are told through poetry, they are taken apart, cut up and put back together again. In Asfaltpuls, the walls of the city lie deserted and abandoned as the gang searches for landmarks, emergency exit signs and points of light in the darkness.

A show about friendship, secrets and relentless stories - about finding hope, together - even if it is well hidden behind dismantled walls, holes in the asphalt and dark underpasses.
