Gullsekken is The Cultural Rucksack's (DKS) own prize and is awarded for efforts to disseminate art and culture in schools. The Gold Sack for best production goes to the production that is the best, both in terms of artistic idea and content, technical and practical implementation, and facilitation for the students.

NIE took home the win with their production Collapse, about two young boys who are smuggled from Eastern Europe to England to try to make a better life for themselves.

Jury leader Erlend Loe says the following about Kollaps:
The theme is highly topical, and NIE uses most of the tools of theater: music, lighting, animation, set design and words. There is poetry, warmth and intense tableaux in English, Norwegian, Czech, German and Spanish.
There were several happy winners on April 5 in Larvik, we congratulate Teater Grimsborken who won the student award for the performance Bjørnson Unplugged .
Well deserved awards to NIE and Teater Grimsborken, congratulations!
