The field of performing arts in Norway, especially for children and young people, faces significant challenges related to support for organizers and production funding. That's why we believe it's important to strengthen support for organizers, which helps more performances reach a wide audience, especially in rural areas. At the same time, we point out the need to expand the scheme to the country's cultural centers, so that they can more easily program performing arts for children, young people and families. In addition, production funding has remained unchanged since 2013, and it is necessary to increase support to ensure that good and diverse performing arts can continue to be produced for young audiences.
