The winner explores communities and collective memories, where people, art and nature merge. The expression is both timeless, innovative and confrontational.

Sami way of life and traditions are still challenged by mainstream society's desire for progress, and the winner stages what is at stake in a way that touches far beyond the borders of Sápmi. The winner has also built up an artist collective in the north.
