Confetti

Jeg ser munnen din gå opp og ned is based on a poem by Amalie Wergeland. The play is about Amalie's dreams, love and relationship with Henrik. The performance contains humor but at the same time seriousness and the truth about Amalie's feelings. We are taken into Amalie's dreams and feelings, which makes us feel that we get to know and care about her as there is a sad ending.

During the performance there will be three dancers smiling and singing to Christmas music, which we at SUS believe will symbolize that everyone should look as if they are fine on the outside, without worries or sorrows. Amalie, who is the main character in the play, stands and talks about her dreams, despair and sorrows. She clearly shows how she feels with her body language.

I thought the play was good, but that it could be a bit one-sided as poor Amalie constantly stood still and talked her way through the performance. The dancers prevented the play from becoming boring or uninteresting and kept us watching the whole time. We at SUS think that they easily and clearly conveyed the message so that everyone understood. I think it's well done to convey it so well in this way, with a difficult starting point from Amalie Wergeland's poem.

"I think the play can be a bit strange and one-sided for the target group from the age of 15. Personally, I and the girls in SUS liked the play, but we don't think it will appeal to everyone in this age group. The humor makes the play funny, but it's made with humor that's easier for adults to laugh at.

We at SUS really liked the play, but it could get a little weird in the long run. Therefore, we choose to give the play 3 out of 5 theater masks.
