When we entered the hall, it was quite dark. There was a carpet with instruments and speakers and lights in the middle of the floor, and chairs and benches were set up on both sides. When the audience had taken their seats, the band "Rohey" came in. This band consists of four people: Rohey Taalah (vocals), Ivan Blomqvist (keys), Kristian B. Jacobsen (bass) and Henrik Lødøen (drums). In early 2017, they released their debut album "A Million Things", and they have been well received at home and abroad. The genre is a good mix of jazz, funk and soul. "I think this performance was a concert with lots of good music. Rohey, the lead singer, has an incredible voice, and the rest of the members of the group are great at playing their instruments. In between each of their songs, they chatted a bit, and they were very good at creating a good atmosphere, and they were nice to the audience. I think this fits very well with the target group, which is 13 to 18 years old. A number of pupils from Thor Heyerdahl went to see this performance, and I saw and heard that many of them thought it was good. I'm in the target group myself, and I know this will be well received by many others in this target group too.
