Three very, very important adults are going to solve a very, very, VERY important problem. Of course, it all goes according to plan. Or - what exactly was the plan? And what was the problem? Communication turns out to be difficult, and it's not made any easier by the confusion that arises when they don't understand each other.

"Capiche?" is about what happens when you fail to make yourself understood. The performance is based on conversations with children in middle school who have shared their thoughts on what it feels like not to be heard, and what it is the adults do not understand.

The show is physical, tactile, visual, funny, silly and serious and uses both sign language and spoken language - but you don't need to both understand sign language and hear spoken language to understand the story.

"Capiche?" is a collaborative project between Unge Viken Teater and Teater Manu and you will meet two hearing and one deaf performer on stage.
