Make Me Dance

Make Me Dance is a choreographed concert. Through movement, sound and text, three dancers and one musician tell why they have ended up as professional artists. Make Me Dance is a performance about the choices we make, and about the small yet universal stories that shape us as people.

This is an energetic performance suitable for several generations. The movement material and texts are the result of discussions between the performers and the creative team. The discussions are based on stories colored by how it all started and how the desire to dance became the key to the future and the source of challenges and success. 

After seeing Make Me Dance, journalist Mari Johnsen Viksengen said: "This piece is not only about dance as a passion, but also about how any passion is important to give life meaning." 

In Make Me Dance, the audience is part of the stage space and surrounded by the set design. Feedback from the audience confirms the goal of this interactivity: "I really felt like I was part of the performance."
