Code 6

This is the story of XXX and her daughter XXX who lives in hiding from her abuser. It is the first New Year's Eve in a new home.

We call it noise; house noise, family noise, now they're making noise again over there. Yes, they are making noise. Violence often makes noise. Bruises and wounds. Injuries. Some that heal, some that don't. And some that die.

Code 6 is the strictest form of secret address we have in Norway, and it is only granted when life and health are at risk. Living under code 6 means that your personal details are classified and that only a few security-cleared people know your identity and address. However, experience shows that this does not provide watertight protection.
