The aim of the project was for the participating partners and artists to challenge their own practices and work around what stories are told from the stage. How could we challenge our own work in taking risks and what can we learn from each other? The project connected artists from all five countries, who worked with the themes of gender and sexual identity, migration and overprotection. The project lasted from 2016-2018.

The project consisted of artistic laboratories, festival visits, network meetings, public events, a website and a documentary film. The project was two years of active knowledge exchange of different practices, and the artists got to explore their own artistry in an international perspective.

The project was supported by Creative Europe. The partners were Imaginate from Scotland, The Ark from Ireland, Culturcentruum Hasselt / Krokusfestival from Belgium and Aaben Dans from Denmark.
