Script competition for new drama for children and young people

Østfold Theatre has launched a three-year drama project to promote new drama for children and young people. The vision is to raise the status of the genre and develop good, newly written drama for children and young people.
The playwriting project initiates several measures, both aimed at young writers who are keen to write and already established authors, to encourage more people to take an interest in writing for the younger target group.

The theater is now announcing a script competition in two classes, one-act and full-length family performance. The stage texts must target children and young people. The winners of each class will be purchased and produced by Østfold Theatre.
