The performance Makker by the dance company Landing is made for young people with functional variations, and the students are each assigned their own very special audience seat. From here, they get to take part in the different parts of the performance: the dancers dance, the students are rocked, and together we build a labyrinth.

When the performance was shown at Multiplié in Trondheim earlier this year, performing arts critic Amund Grimstad wrote the following:

But it was the last performance I attended that really gave me an experience out of the ordinary, and one that stuck in my memory. The loosely composed dance group Landing had created a performance they called "Makker". It was produced in collaboration with Akershus DKS and Kloden theatre, and is made for people with various disabilities, and mainly for teenagers. But you don't have to be a teenager or have any disability to really enjoy this show.

Humor and rhythm are important tools. As the space gradually changes, different moods and degrees of closeness arise, which enable different bodily experiences. With the word “partner,” Landing thinks of having a partner, a good friend, someone to share something with. The overall goal is to create contact with each individual student – to initiate an interaction, and for the students to experience being together in a common space. Together we can become something more and different, both for ourselves and for each other.
