A tribute to the teenager
Through three adult actors on stage, stories, places and characters are woven together into a picture of a teenager's reality. It becomes honest, recognizable, and not least; funny.
This project has been a child of the heart for the production company Syv mil and is the first production they have taken the initiative for. Ever since producer Hjørdis Steinsvik came across the script in 2022, the driving force has been the belief in what the message – created through fieldwork in a middle school class and in-depth interviews with teenagers – can mean for the target audience.

It is easy for adults to imagine the teenager as a mysterious being with selective hearing who only comes out of his room to hunt for snacks. But the performance “You are the fucking best” is an unreserved tribute to all young people who get up every day and face everything that life throws at them. This is a performance that wants to talk to young people, not about young people. Produced in collaboration with Den Nationale Scene.
