This workshop is perfect for those of you who are active performing artists in Norway and who want the keys to connecting with the right partners.

Do you want to work with an institutional theater? Let's talk about why, and then how! Maybe the project belongs somewhere else entirely? This day is about you, what you do and where you want to go with your projects.

However, if you have never produced anything, don't have any ideas, or lack vision at this time, this is probably not the workshop for you.

The workshop is led by Håkon Dalsbø and Frode Gjerløw.

  • November 27
  • 10:00 – 15:00
  • Sentralen , Oslo
  • Price: 150,- including lunch

Åndsverkstedet consists of Frode Gjerløw and Håkon Dalsbø . The collaboration began in Bergen during the pandemic, when they developed a small but ambitious interactive street theater project – with the entire city as a stage. Since then, they have made a name for themselves with the playgaming concept Det Mørke Fortet – a Minecraft adventure at the Riksteatret, winner of Rikspitch 2022 and Heddaprisen 2024. The duo also won Gulljerven for special artistic contribution in 2024. This winter they are up for the sequel Scorpion's Game - in the Shadow of Roblox, a co-production between the National Theatre and Teater Ibsen.

Frode has a background as a creative actor with two of his own companies in London, and has directed at a number of Norwegian theatres, including Hålogaland Teater and Brageteatret. He has broad experience as a director and screenwriter in everything from comedy and newly written drama to Shakespeare mashups, musicals, parodies, absurd theatre, political satire and family performances. This autumn he is staging The Nutcracker at Nye Hjorten Teater in Trondheim.

Håkon has many years of experience as an agent and dramaturg at Teaterforlaget Songbird, where he represented playwrights internationally and followed script processes from idea to finished text. Today he is a literary agent at Cappelen Damm Agency, with a particular interest in how stories can move across media, genres and audiences.

Through Åndsverkstedet, Frode and Håkon want to use their combined experience – from fringe to institution, indie production and business – to develop new artistic formats and contribute to greater mobilization in the cultural field and participation in cultural policy.
