Trust me for a while – Plexus Polaire (NO/FR)

Three puppeteers try to find out what really happened when one of them inherited an old ventriloquist puppet - with a strange and disturbing history.

But as they tell the story, the boundaries between past and present begin to blur. What is reality, and what is just part of the story? When the puppeteers lose control, things suddenly get scary – because what happens is happening here and now .

The performance is like a nightmare you don't want to wake up from: funny, uncomfortable and hypnotic at the same time. Here you meet a failed magician, a jealous doll with a knife – and the question of who is really pulling the strings: the man or the doll?

With a minimalist stage space, strong visuals and raw presence, Yngvild Aspeli and Plexus Polaire create an intense and dark comedy about control, madness and free will.
