Indre – Edginton | Marstein | Gismervik | Tamulynaite

INDRE (inner)is a powerful and sensual performance that takes the audience on a 45-minute journey through emotional life – where rhythm, movement and sound make the entire room vibrate.

On stage you will meet dancers Ingvild Marstein Olsen and Liv Edginton , together with musicians Jan Martin Gismervik (drums/electronics) and Guoste Tamulynaite (electronics). Together they create a vibrant and unpredictable interplay – full of contrasts, energy and reverberation.

Inner is a performance that sharpens the senses and makes the body react – an experience you both know and remember.

Cast: 

Dance artists Liv Edginton and Ingvild Marstein Olsen are both based in Oslo and share a common interest in creating and performing works with a distinctive physical form of expression where sensation and imagination are at the center. The duo has collaborated since 2012, and were part of STICKY Productions with the children's performance Økohelter (2022), which was twice Hedda nominated.

Musicians Guoste Tamulynaite and Jan Martin Gismervik work in a broad musical landscape that mixes cultural references, kitsch and field recordings. Improvisation is central, but always with a clear awareness of form and detail. Both are active in Oslo's alternative music scene, and also compose for the contemporary music field. They have performed at festivals such as Borealis , Sildajazz , Only Connect , Motvind-festivalen and Podium , and participated in interdisciplinary projects such as River Being , Flakkande Røynd and Solsnu , shown at CODA dance festival , Teater Innlandet , Praha Quadrennial and Kilden Konsertsal , among others.
