In collaboration with Det Andre Teatret, Brageteatret presents a brand new improvised performance for children about beginnings.
Nothing happens without a beginning, yet getting started can be the hardest part. Why is this the case?
Three exhausted writers come to tell their stories, but just don't know how to get started. Their heads are empty of starters! Luckily, the children in the audience can help. They have prepared small beginnings of different stories, ranging from a sentence to a whole paragraph written on paper. These are delivered in a pile to the writers, and now they just have to create the sequels!
There and then, completely new stories emerge. Perhaps one beginning can have different continuations? Or can several beginnings become a continuation? The three authors tell and act out a number of stories based on the children's suggestions.
Brageteatret's former director Nils Petter Mørland is responsible for the idea and direction of this imaginative performance, and everything is shaped by the children's contributions to the beginning.
