Many children in Norway worry about the children in Gaza, but do not know how to express their thoughts and feelings about the terrible conditions their peers are living in.

" Letters for Palestinian Childhoods " (L4PC), is a global solidarity project, an online and physical traveling exhibition of letters, poems and art. This solidarity project aims to combat a dehumanizing narrative about Palestinians by showing the names, stories, experiences, dreams and struggles of Palestinian children. Now choreographer and dancer Mariko Miyata-Jancey and dramaturge Lina Killingdalen have brought this project to Norway.

Together with various cultural actors, librarians, authors and educators, adults and children in Oslo have written letters and drawn their thoughts, dreams and concerns to the children in Palestine. During this year's Showbox, some of the letters and drawings will be displayed in an exhibition where there will also be an opportunity to create your own letters and drawings.

Previous workshop leaders and collaborators: Pia Tveteraas, Elisabeth Jensen Lombnæs, Teachers for Peace in Gaza, Marte Tovsrud Syverinsen, Unge Viken Theatre, Lillestrøm Library, Fubiak, Tøyen Library, Mini-Masahat, children and adults in Oslo and Akershus.

The project can be followed on Instagram .

Showbox collaborated with this year's Mini-Masahat on, among other things, Letters to Palestine.
