Capiche - Teater Manu/Unge Viken Teater
Thursday, November 28
With headphones, you'll be guided into Frida's world, directly to the heart of Mexico, where you're not just a spectator, but an active participant in Frida's colorful life. Frida is a celebration of courage, difference and imagination as a tool to overcome adversity.
Made for adventurous souls over the age of 10, and adults with a child's heart, "Frida" offers a 45-minute journey you'll never forget.
This performance by Katma is inspired by the life and art of Frida Kahlo. As an audience member, you'll join Frida in Mexico, where you'll draw, train, dance and celebrate with her family. You might also hear some secrets - but remember, you have to keep them to yourself!
Frida comes from Mexico and often feels different and alone. Her life is characterized by both illness and accidents, but she finds relief in drawing and painting. The performance takes you close to her experiences with bullying, love, accidents and art. You will also be invited to participate in the Day of the Dead celebrations - if you dare.
